Live family map
See everyone in your circle on one map, moving as they move. Tap a member to see where they are, whether they're still, walking or in a vehicle, and how much battery their phone has.
- Updates arrive on the map without refreshing.
- Each member shows when their location was last updated.
- The circle shows whose battery is lowest, so you know why a phone may go quiet.

Arrival and leave alerts
Save the places your family goes every day and NextLocator tells circle admins when someone arrives or leaves. No more “did you reach?” calls.
- Give each place a name, an icon and a radius around it.
- Circle admins get the notification, and everyone in the circle can see arrivals and leaves in the app.
- A small margin at the edge stops GPS drift from sending false leave alerts.

SOS alerts
Hold the SOS button, or tap it repeatedly, until the ring fills. Every member of your circle gets an alert with your exact location straight away.
- The filling ring prevents an alert from a pocket or a stray touch.
- Members can open the alert and see where you are on the map.
- Every SOS raised in the circle is kept in its emergency alert history.
SOS alerts your family, not the police or an ambulance. In danger in Bangladesh, also call 999.

Ask for a fresh location
If someone's location hasn't updated for a while, ask their phone for a new one. It answers in the background, so they don't have to stop and open the app.
- Useful when a phone has been still or offline for a long time.
- A short cooldown stops repeated requests from draining someone's battery.

A circle is the group you share your location with. Only its members can see each other, and nobody joins without the circle's invite code.
- Invite family with a 6-character code or a QR code.
- Circle admins can rename the circle and remove members.
- Members can leave a circle whenever they want, and stop sharing with it.
- Sign in with your phone number, Google account or Apple ID.

Offline sync
Mobile data drops out in lifts, basements and on long journeys. NextLocator keeps recording on the phone and sends the saved points when the connection returns, so gaps in the route fill in.
While a phone is offline, the family map shows its last known location and when it was sent.

Battery-friendly tracking
NextLocator checks location more often when you're moving and much less when you're still, and it skips updates that say nothing new. A phone resting on a desk barely notices it.

What features does NextLocator have?
NextLocator has a live family map with movement and battery status, arrival and leave alerts for saved places, SOS alerts, fresh location requests, location history, private circles joined with a 6-character invite code or QR code, and offline sync that fills in your route when the connection returns.
Are all NextLocator features included in the free plan?
Yes. Every plan has the same safety features. Paid plans raise limits such as how many people and saved places each circle can have and how many days of location history you can see.
Does NextLocator work on both Android and iPhone?
Yes. NextLocator is made for Android and iPhone, and family members on either kind of phone can be in the same circle. It is coming soon to Google Play and the App Store.
Can people outside my circle see my location?
No. Only members of a circle you belong to can see your location. You can leave a circle at any time, and circle admins can remove members.
How does the SOS button work?
Hold the SOS button, or tap it repeatedly, until the ring around it fills. NextLocator then sends every member of your circle an SOS alert with your exact location. It does not contact emergency services, so also call 999 in Bangladesh if you are in danger.
